The company has launched the world’s first 48 megapixel sensor camera on Monday, which will be available in the market from September this year. Hopefully this camera will be used first in Sony’s devices. By next year many big tech companies can use this camera sensor in their smartphone.

The company told in a blog post that the Stacked Seamos Image Sensor ‘IMX 586’ is 48 megapixel sensor camera and the size of these pixels is 0.8 microns pixels. These days the demand for premium camera sensors has increased in the cameras of high-end smartphone models. Sony’s new sensor is with 48 megapixel sensor camera, which enables it to pull pictures of beautiful, high-end resolution from the smartphone. ”



At present, the highest resolution camera sensor is 40 megapixels, which is available in Huawei P20 Pro and Nokia Lumia 1020. Sony’s sensors have long been used in Apple‘s phone too.

According to information given on Sony’s website, the IMX586 sensor camera will start shipping this September. In such a way, it can be used to see the use of smartphones in the year 2019.
